Since most people have their iPhone on them all the time, it makes sense to use it for reading on the go rather than carrying around a hard copy book or even a full size Kindle or any other reader. This app makes it easy to jump right into that book you were reading at home or elsewhere either on the Kindle PC version or regular Kindle thanks to their Whispersync technology. It can also be used to email PDFs and other documents to one’s Kindle email address and pull them up on the iPhone. The app includes many of the features of the Kindle itself including instant dictionary word lookup, swipe or tap to turn pages, search inside a book, adjust font size and background color and read in either portrait or landscape format.

It includes comprehensive, accurate maps in 200 countries and is just as useful for those biking or walking as it is those driving.
